Last night, I went out with some former coworkers to see a movie and have dinner. We went to an Israeli restaurant that offers a very cheap all-you-can eat course. The main dish is the pita sandwiches, which are filled with things such as mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, hummus, and then chicken or filafel. Overall, there are many vegetables, which makes it quite healthy.
Also included in the course are a spicy soup, as well as some very thinly sliced french fried potatoes. That is followed by a lamb kebab and grilled chicken over rice and lentil beans. None of the food in the course is too heavy, so there is a nice balance and you can simply eat as much or as little of each thing as you like.
