On my second day in LA, fortunately I didn’t have to work since it was a holiday. That allowed me to get used to the time difference, since I fell asleep at a strange time on Sunday night. I did have a business meeting over dinner though, which is very common in LA. There are many good restaurants and often many business discussions and deals are carried out there.
We went to a fairly well-known Italian chain restaurant, which is known for its giant portions. Most items on the menu are very large, even for American standards, so that people will order multiple things and then share them between them.
